Oil and Gas: Quanico drilling in Union County | Public Records

Quanico Oil & Gas Inc. of El Dorado has received a drilling permit for its Rogers No. 1 well in Union County.

Sewell Drilling is the contractor. Work began June 1, 2024.

The Arkansas Oil and Gas Commission said the well location is 330 feet FNL and 2,310 feet FWL in Section 24-17S-15W in the El Dorado East Field of Union County. Total vertical depth of 6,400 feet into the Smackover Line was permitted.

Saltwerx amended its permit for a lithium brine well. The permit for the Poppy No. 1 well sets the new true vertical depth at 10,614 feet. The well is located 729 feet FSL and 1,604 feet FEL in a wildcat field in Lafayette County.
