Madison Night Market kicks off 2024 season | News

MADISON (WKOW) – Thursday was the first night of the Madison Night Market, as vendors showcased homemade products, local art and fresh produce.

More than 110 vendors including artists, jewelers and bakers took part in the event which included live music.

27 News caught up with Matt Tramel, the Executive Director of Madison’s Central Business Improvement District.

He said this is an amazing time to come out and get to know everybody in downtown Madison.

“It’s actually important for the small businesses that are here on State Street,” Tramel said. “I think the small businesses get an opportunity to have all of this kind of vibrant energy, get a chance to showcase their products.”

There are four more night markets this year: June 13, August 8, September 12 and October 17.
