(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) Mokaska Coffee hosting a local business called Mad Mack Vintage for a vintage market, their second one since October.

After the success of their first market, Mad Mack decided to bring back their wares, where people could browse through local some locally owned shops that sell vintage and handmade items, including clothing, jewelery, and knick knacks.

Mad Mack’s states that they have started this vintage market to bring together some local vendors and support environmentally sourced items, while promoting the vintage aesthetic, which is slowly making a comeback.

Madison McKinley, owner of Mad Mack’s and the market organizer, says,

“I think a lot of people have really switched over to the the vintage side of the world. Buying used and shopping sustainable is good. And with anything, not just clothes. And I think people are really starting to realize it, they’re starting to pay attention to environmental factors. And they’re really trying to make a difference. And also vintage is just cool, it’s unique, you get one of a kind things that are unique to you.”

Mad Mack’s plans to hold more markets like this in the future, so if you’re interested in seeing what they have to offer or being a vendor at one of their markets, you can contact them on Instagram at Mad Mack Vintage.
