Foreign Exchange Reserves decreased to 15.77 billion BAM in BiH

Foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the end of May amounted to 15.77 billion BAM and are 100 million BAM less than in April.

At the annual level, foreign exchange reserves increased by 239 million BAM or 1.5 percent, the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced.

Total loans to domestic sectors in Bosnia and Herzegovina at the end of May amounted to 24.53 billion BAM and are higher by 260.2 million BAM or 1.1 percent compared to April.

Credit growth was registered in the household sector by 129.7 million BAM or 1.1 percent, private companies by 109.2 million BAM or 1.1 percent, government institutions by 19 million BAM or 1.7 percent, and other domestic sectors by 2.6 million BAM or one percent.

In the case of non-financial public companies, there was a decrease in loans by 0.3 million BAM or 0.1 percent.

The annual growth rate of total loans in May was 9.4 percent, nominally 2.11 billion BAM.

Annual credit growth was registered in the household sector by 1.02 billion BAM or 9.1 percent, private companies by 956.5 million BAM or 10.2 percent, government institutions by 55.6 million BAM or 10.7 percent, non-financial public companies for 4.5 million BAM or 0.8 percent and for other domestic sectors for 72.6 million BAM or 39.7 percent.
