BROWN COUNTY, Wis. (WFRV) – Thursday marked the beginning of several different markets opening up for the summer months in Brown County.

The Market on Military, Downtown De Pere Farmers Market, and the Titletown Night Market all made their 2024 debuts with busy crowds despite the on-and-off rain in the area.

All of the markets featured local vendors and food trucks, and some even had live music.

“It’s a great opportunity, especially for the local vendors, to get out in front of the public and sell directly,” said Tina Quigley, Definitely De Pere’s Executive Director. “It provides a nice opportunity for people to shop locally. Not only do they know where their items are coming from, but they’re also supporting the local economy.

The Market on Military is every Thursday from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m., Downtown De Pere is from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m., and the Titletown Night Market is from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m.
