Iraq trimmed its oil exports slightly in April to 3.413 million barrels per day (bpd), the second month in a row that oil sales have decreased by 10,000 bpd, according to a senior Oil Ministry official.

The country’s oil sales have averaged just above 3.402 million bpd in the first four months of the year, which is 60,000 bpd lower than average exports in the second half of 2023 — a reflection of the Oil Ministry’s efforts to comply with tighter OPEC-plus quotas.
