KTM announce new KTM 300 EXC and XC-W ‘HARDENDURO’, fresh black-look for the upgrade two-stroke edition dedicated to extreme enduro.

Through different incarnations over the years, the special edition models from KTM are always eye-catching. From the annual ISDE line-up, the Erzbergrodeo model, even a WESS edition popped up once, and now to the updated (it was new last year) 2025 KTM 300 EXC and XC-W HARDENDURO which join a line of premier KTM Enduro motorcycles.

Hard Enduro World Champion Manuel Lettenbichler is your model for the action images here, putting the bike to the test in new, cool black colours contrasting with the orange frame, saucy D.I.D. wheels and a heap of Power Parts from the catalogue.

The parts list is the bit we’re interested in, naturally along with the price (not yet available, the bike is due in September). The goodies include 48mm WP XACT closed-cartridge spring fork with preload adjusters just like those found on aftermarket pro components. It allows on-the-fly adjustments by hand, with a total travel distance of 4 mm.

KTM say upgrades have also been made to the rear shock settings, chain glider, and fuel tank roll but those are common to all 2025 enduro models.

The additional parts is a healthy one though:

New black and orange graphics
Orange frame – black factory racing seat
Map-select switch
Orange factory frame protector set
Factory wheel set comprised of black D.I.D. rims, black spokes, orange hubs, orange nipples
Metzeler 6 Days Extreme tyres (Europe, likely Dunlop AT81 shown in North America)
Wrap-around handguard kit
Radiator fan
Black anodised CNC machined triple clamps
WP XACT closed cartridge front fork featuring new base valve preload adjusters
Skid plate
Floating front brake disc
Front brake disc guard
Solid rear brake disc
Orange rear brake disc guard
Orange Supersprox stealth rear sprocket
Orange oil plug
Clutch slave cylinder protection
Pull straps
