Honda Grom Is Glammed Up For 2025

25 Honda Grom lifestyle 4

The Honda Grom moves forward into 2025 with a new set of bodywork, but the same basic mechanical layout.

Honda uses the two-valve OHC 125 engine from the Grom in a lot of other bikes, and in its last mechanical upgrade, the little fuel-injected air-cooled single got a fifth gear and a bit of a bump in power. It seems that’s enough to keep Honda and its fans happy for now, as the PR for the new Grom doesn’t list any changes there. Expect 9ish horsepower from the little undersquare engine.

It also seems the chassis and suspension is the same, with the same 31mm USD fork and monoshock. A dual-piston brake caliper bites down on a 220 mm disc up front, with 190 mm disc in back, and the bike roles on 12-inch cast wheels. ABS is optional in the US, powered through an IMU, and only monitoring the front wheel.

The differences for 2024 are some new accessories (handguards, luggage and more) and the bodywork mentioned above:

The fourth-generation Grom is outfitted with almost entirely new bodywork, giving the miniMOTO icon a fresh look. From the headlight cover to the shrouds, tank cover and side covers, each component has been carefully redesigned, offering aggressive style, while prioritizing rider comfort. The four main body panels quickly attach and detach, facilitating customization—a hallmark of Grom culture that is welcomed by customers eager to personalize their rides. The Grom’s sleek aesthetic is enhanced by its blacked-out engine, exhaust, wheels and swingarm.

MSRP for 2025 is $3,599 before taxes and fees. See more info at Honda’s US site here.
