Mega Millions jackpot ticket sold in Illinois
CHICAGO — Someone in Illinois has won the Mega Millions jackpot in Tuesday night’s drawing.
The winning numbers were 19, 37, 40, 63 and 69 with the gold Mega Ball 17.
According to a Mega Millions press release, a ticket sold in Illinois has won the $552 million jackpot.
It is unclear at this time where exactly the ticket was bought.
This is the second time the Mega Millions jackpot was won in 2024, the first was a jackpot for $1.128 billion in New Jersey on March 26.

Mega Millions says there were 944,852 other winning tickets in Tuesday’s drawing. Two tickets matched the five white balls to win the game’s second-tier prize, which were sold in California and Maryland.
The next drawing is scheduled for June 7, where the jackpot resets to its current starting value of $20 million ($9.4 million cash).
